I took this picture outside my barbers in the Sofitel Hotel, Silom. Isn’t it beautiful?

After I had my hair cut, I decided to head down to the Indian/Thai temple down the road. I’m not religious, but an hour sitting and relaxing in a temple always does wonders for the mind… so relaxing.

This is a close up from the image above… this perticular temple is so attention to detail focused… inside and out.

Unusually quite on a Saturday morning.

This little fella was staring at me as I entered a shop… although got a bit shy when I pulled out my camera.

The best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life.

I cook a healthy dinner for a change. Grilled prawns, roasted carrots, cesar salad, rocket salad, Italian salad with horseradish potato salad. Pretty darn good considering I’ve never good this sort of food before.

Slow stewed pork leg… so this so darn good I always order seconds!

A concoction of ingredients to stuff a chicken with, which was then roasted. Dry chilly, ginger, lemon juice, onion, garlic, olive oil, sugar and seasoning. Very delicious :)

One of my fav thai veggie dishes.. sorry, don’t know what the name is in English but it’s fried with soy, garlic, chilly and I think oyster sauce. (Name in Thai is “Pak Pak boo Fie Deng”)

Pork that has been laid out in the sun for a day before deep fried. Chewy but pretty good.

A classic: Fried rice with prawns.

Papaya Salad with a fermented anchovy sauce. It’s better than it sounds.

You eat a lot of pork buddy. I heard its the most unhealthy thing to eat around.
Is that right?
I defo eat more pork here than elsewhere. Meats such as Lamb, Beef and Game are not readily available. Saying that, nearly every meal I have contains meat.
my gosh …
i’m starving terribly !
hey mate where was that pizza in bangers?
cheers !
