I took this photo when we stopped to get something to eat in Bagan, Myanmar (Burma). The guy just hoped his way to the top like it was so easy, grabbed some coconuts and made his way back down.
Excellent picture. However, the person in the picture is not harvesting coconuts. He’s collecting juice from a toddy palm. The juice can be boiled and palm sugar extracted or turn it into alcohol.
