does anyone ever by you a beer? just wondering if asking for $ gets you money!

I have recieved 12 beers since I started running the “Buy me a beer plugin” I’m currently working on a new design, which will be add free and will remove the “buy me a beer plugin”. I’ve never had the intention of making money from this site, it’s just a way of up-dating family and helping people along the way if I can. I just love testing different monetizing techniques and see how they perform… I strongly believe testing different techniques and monitoring the analytics is a great art to learn if you want to become successful on-line. I won’t stop testing, I just won’t be doing it on my new design!

I didn’t design this blog theme. The theme I am using now is called Misty and is probably one of the most common used wordpress themes on the blogging scene. There are many wordpress themes designers have coded and tested you can use for free, here is a great list of over 3,000 themes to choose from!

As for the Google rankings… I consider myself an SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) expert, so I kind of expect myself to rank for particular keywords of interest to me! How I do this is slowly but surely revealing its self on this blog, check out my Make Money On-line category for further info and stay tuned for future posts about SEO

I’m thinking of some good online business ideas…do you ever do any freelancing? Is seo your only specialty.

I’m in the middle of writing some posts about outsourcing different areas of making money on-line including where, how, who, when and why - This may be of interest to you if you are just starting out. I do offer SEO services on a free lance basis, my rates start at $6,000 per month on a contract basis. However, if you are just starting out, I highly recommend learning SEO yourself… you have more control and will save considerable costs. SEO’s worth their salt are not cheap as the rewards have to be more appealing than generating long term revenue themselves.
