I’ve been meaning to check out the Bangkok Baking Company, which is located on the ground floor of the JW Marriott Hotel in Sukhumvit, for a long time now. After a heavy night on the town last night, I woke up with a huge hangover and decided a good breakfast was needed to get me back to normal. Within 10 minutes from leaving home, I was in breakfast heaven.

Eggs benedict: English muffin, grilled ham topped with pouched eggs and hollandaise sauce. This was served with a hash brown. This was among the best Egg benedicts I’ve ever had.

I’ve been a fan of Illy coffee for years: the best coffee money can buy in my opinion. This was served with cookie that had lot’s of different nuts in it.
I highly recommend The Bangkok Baking company… great service, nice garden you can sit in and a great menu offering typical bakery goods, breakfasts and salads.
If you know of any other places in Bangkok that serve excellent breakfasts, please leave them in the comments!

i used to eat pad thai for my breakfast when i was on holiday in bangkok. it’s a big breakfast. hahaha
For some reason I’ve never been able to eat Thai food for breakie…
Thanks – this is a nice place also to just go and sit down and drink a coffee if you’ve been walking around Bangkok all the time or just have done a typical “Sukhumvit walk”.
Its simply the best around Bangkok.I normally stay in the near area but i have to eat there every morning, the cakes are the best ive come across.Hats off to the patissier.
