I’m a bit late signing up to Twitter as I worried it was going to be yet another distraction I didn’t need. After 24+ hours of using it, I was right :)
Anyway, it’s kind of cool to be able to add quick links to cool things I find on the web, brag about my poker winnings along with a few thoughts that wouldn’t warrant a blog post here.
I’ve also got each member of my team to sign up and have set a requirement for the non speaking English staff to send 5 tweets per day (yeah, in English) – I’m sure they think I’m evil, but they’ll thank me in 6 months.
If you don’t know what twitter is, it’s basically a micro blogging app whereby you only have 140 characters to write a post with. You can follow others and their latest posts will get displayed within your feed. If that didn’t make sense, check this video out.
