My Egg Noodles

We have just held out first idea of the week session – it was a lot of fun with some great ideas being passed around, which then lead on to other ideas. I’m so glad we are doing this now as I can see a lot of value coming out of these idea sessions, especially with getting everyone on the team flexing their creative juices, let alone ideas that may turn into actual projects.

For one time only, I’m going to write the list of ideas we discussed today below as I want you to have an insight to our session today and to propose a little networking idea I have. We’ll be holding our next idea session on Friday 8^th August and I’d like to invite anyone that reads the blog to come along and network with myself, my team and other like minded peps! Nope, this is not a ploy to nick your ideas, it’s more of an opportunity to network with people that work online, make deals(?), share ideas and experiences and above all, have some fun! –  A cool way to start the weekend don’t you think? Okay, here are the ideas we discussed this week. Some are outrageous, some very ambitious while others plain stupid – this is exactly the mix I wanted!

• A celebrity look-alike site with social features

• On-line football fantasy game for each of the big football tournaments (premiership, la liga etc.) whereby users can buy, share and vote for players, managers and teams using real money.

• Create a social platform for unsigned artists (musicians, dancers, singers)

• A system that will give you a 360 degrees view of your chosen new hair style. Upload a picture of yourself, the system will remove your hair, and you can add new hair styles and colors to see what style fits your head shape before going down to the salon.

• A site that would make it easier for investors and web site creators to create relationships together with a legal center.

• Cocktail social networking site – users can upload their cocktail recipes and others can try them, then vote and match.

• A site profiling animal voices

• Your Desktop – A blog similar to my View From Office project whereby people send in a screen shot of their desktop.

• Sunglasses simulator – Users upload a picture of themselves, then try on sunglasses to see what styles fit you best, then buy!

• A social and networking site for origami fans

• Freelance jobs site in Thai

• Coupon site/blog for Thailand based business

There were a handful of ideas I’m unable to disclose as they were related to our current projects :( Don’t worry, it’s not long before you get to check these project out!
