This is my go-to lunch when in Ubon Ratchathani on a diet. Gwoi-teaw, the Thai name for a soup based noodle dish in Thailand, is normally served with urm, noodles. However I forgo the noodles and just have the soup, veggies and chicken – making it a great healthy low-carb lunch option.
This place is always busy, and understandably so. The chicken broth is rich, the veggies are cooked to perfection and the pulled chicken is moist and flavourful. It’s one of my favourite Gwoi-teaw restaurants in town.
