A few days chilling out on white sandy beaches with clear blue water was just what I needed to re-charge my batteries.  I wouldn’t go back to Koh Samet as it’s a little to relaxed for my liking, however I’d defo recommend it for couples that want to escape the city for the weekend as the beaches are some of the best I’ve seen in Thailand, and there’s plenty of accommodation options. Also worth noting is that the food and drinks are cheap as chips!

This is my first real experience of traveling alone and you know what, I’m started to like it. I love the freedom and how easy it gets to meet new people if you are on your own. I met some right characters on Koh Samet while at the same time I met some people who I will keep in touch with (Thanks to Facebook haha!).

I’m now back in Bangkok for a night or two, although I haven’t got a clue where I’m heading next! This is so exciting. I’m loving my life right now, I’m on the road, meeting new people but I’m still making deals every day!

Beach
This is the view from the breakfast area of my hotel, The Silver Sands resort. Not a bad place to stay, but it wouldn’t cut it for a romantic weekend away with the missus!

Beach 2
One of tens of beaches… the island is so small you could walk around it in a few hours! (okay, maybe 4 to 5 hours!)

Cats
These are the 2 cats that came to visit me every day outside my window… cute arn’t they? :”)

LOVE LIFE!!
