Longsheng Terraced Fields

Today was such an awesome day out exploring some rice terraces which have been hand made on the side of the hillsides. We started out checking into a rural mountain village that is 600 years old, which is famous for women who grow their hair down to the floor. We then hiked up to the top of the mountain to PingAn village, where the best views of the rice paddies could be found. The images below just doesn’t do them justice.

A day spent outside in the fresh air doesn’t get better than this.

Stunning view over-looking various peaks.

A mountain side village of around 300 people. Most families here have around 6 kids.

China just keeps on getting better and better. I’m scratching my head as to why there’s not more tourists here. Maybe it’s just me, but every day China gives me grins and excitement every time I go outside and I can’t wait for more over the next few weeks!
