Magazine launch delay
There were a few set backs, but the one that effected us most was our poor Internet connection.
We needed to up-load 670 profiles, each should take around a minute to complete, however this week it has taken us an average of 5 to 10 minutes per page with our really slow internet connection that keeps on cutting out every 20 minutes or so. We are expecting an engineer from True (our ISP) to arrive this afternoon to check our line. Our net is so bad that it took me 4 refreshes to even publish this blog post.
We have a public holiday (labor day) here in Thailand tomorrow and with the weekend approaching I’m guessing we’ll have the mag ready to launch for Tuesday (that’s if the internet improves)
My team have been staying late every night working there arses off and even offered to work tomorrow through the holiday to get the magazine up and running as soon as possible. I’m so proud of my team, but on the other hand am really gutted we didn’t make the dead line.

Thats the problem of working in a third world country. You never get the infrastructure right.
I have too faced lots of problem because of these ISP’s. But the bigger problem arise when clients and viewers in western world don’t understand that you can really have problem with a screwed ISP.
This is common. just keep patience.
Best of Luck for you magazine.
