MC Khit (Chris)

The other night I went clubbing in Bangkok with 8 friends. Towards the end of the night I went to the toilet and on the way the DJ held his hand out to shake mine. This happens alot when I’m out and about being the only forigner inside the club. We got talking and for some reason I asked if I could MC on the mic. He said no problem and opened the door. At this point I thought FUCK! What have I done. I’ve never done this before, I haven’t even thought of this before. Looking back, it was writing my 10 teen tales post that jolted my memory about me and my mates sitting in my bedroom DJ’ing and MC’ing.

Anyway, I walked into the DJ booth and he handed me the mic. All of the sudden.. all eyes were on me. Shit… what do I do I thought. The first thing I said was something simple like “What’s up Bangkok!” I recieved a good reaction from the crowd and it was pretty easy from there.

About 5 minutes later I a guy tapped me on my shoulder and told me there were girls videoing me. Of course it was my missus and her mates. I got to admit I did feel like a rock star! Then, all of the sudden I noticed another set of girls videoing me… this is when though “hey, I could get used to this”

I told some mates the following day and they didn’t believe me. You see, I’m not the sort of person who would normally get up in front of xxx people and start chatting on a mic.  So, to prove them I was not bull-shitting, here is a short vid clip…
