My Egg Noodles

My egg noodles (I just bought myeggnoodles.com hahaha) is great for everyone: Thai, Forigner and kids.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Chilly
  • Mushrooms
  • Carrot
  • Lettice
  • Chicken
  • Egg noodles
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sugar
  • Fish Sauce
  • Olive Oil 

Heat the oil in either a saucepan or wok, add the onion. Cook a little before adding the chicken, followed by garlic. When the chicken turns white, add the noodles, Fish Sauce, Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce and a little sugar. Stir. Then add the carrot, chilly and mushrooms. Stir. Add a little water. Stir. Then add the lettice. Taste and adjust!

On the cooking note, does anyone know what I can do with Cinemon Sticks? I’ve only ever seen them on TV, so when I saw them in Tesco’s the other day I just had to buy some. The only problem is I don’t know what to cook them with. Any ideas?

That looks delicious, and -almost- what my mother’s recipe is, except 1) part of it is a secret and 2) no white onion, scallions/green onions. Oh, and she uses flat rice noodles (XL size). :)

*I meant “green onions instead of white”. Try it. :)
