A perfect day in Bangkok

I don’t normally write 2 posts in one day but the events of today prompted me to break the routine.

I got up, had a coffee then went to Immigration to get an extension on my visa. I normally have to wait around an hour, however today I only waited 10mins! A good start to the day. I then went back to my apartment and had to carry 3 heavy boxes to the post office, as a result my back was in paid. What does a guy living in Bangkok do when he has muscle pain? Well, with Bangkok being like the capital city of Massages, he goes to the massage parlour. I went in and asked for a traditional Thai massage at 200B (£3) Luckily, the lady who gave me the massage was HOT, one thing lead to another and I walked out a very happy man.

Walking to the office, my motorbike taxi driver shouts at me and asks if I want a lift to work, where he normally waits for customers. I ask him how much, he says nothing, he was going that way anyway. Great! I then go to have lunch, and notice some noodles I have not tried before, long flat noodles (sen yai). They turned out to be pucka, better than the noodles I normally get. Another smile.

I go to work and noticed Google are up-dating the page rank on all the web sites they index, and the page rank on all my sites except one increased page rank. Another smile. As I come home, I notice the motorbike taxi drivers outside my apartment are having a competition with a game like chess. They have been teaching me how to play over the last month or so and they asked if I wanted to join in. After a few beers and laughs, I come 4th out of 6. Not good but had a laugh anyway.

Now, the next thing that happened was the highlight of my day… I go out to get some dinner, and I notice the most beautiful lady I have ever seen, melt in your mouth beautiful! The rate of beautiful women in Bangkok is sky high, maybe 1 out of 100, where in the UK it would be around 1 in 10,000. However, this particular lady was in a different class. I smile thinking I haven’t got a chance. She smiles back. She and her friend walked on and I thought no more of it. 3minutes later they walk back and her friend said ……………. Sorry, I can’t tell you, but it did put another smile on my face!

What a great day!
