New Year Celebrations at Central World, Bangkok

Following our orginal plan to head up to Kao Yai to celebrate New Year, we ended up just staying in Bangkok. We headed to Central World to watch the firework displays for the new year count down. The road was clossed off and it was so busy, but there was a great atmosphere with everyone in a good mood. Walking up to Central World from where we parked the car, it reminded me of walking up to Notting Hill carnival: everyone eating, talking/singing, drinking beer and generally wanting a good time.

How did you celebrate the final hours/minutes of 2007?
