Sister coming to Bangkok
After touring around Australia for a couple of months, my sister if home sick and wants to cut her trip short by a month. I got a call from mum this morning at 6am to make sure I can meet her at the airport tonight (thanks for that mum!)… Did my mum think I would say no? …No mum, I can’t meet my little sis cos I’m out having beers with my mates tonight…
It’s not perfect timing due to my mag launch, but hey, my sister comes first so we’ll see how it all plans out.
Over the last month I’ve really started to miss my family, I think it’s the rain. It might sound a bit weird but when it rains here in Bangkok I think of home. Over the last 3 days we’ve had lightening and thunder with some heavy rain every day.
I’ve only spent a day with my family over the last year, when I went to London for 30 odd hours back in October. I keep thinking I want to have afternoon tea with my nan with the full works: strawberry jam, clotted cream and scones. I want to share a bottle of red with quality cheese with my mum. I want to take my other little sis shopping.
Good news is that my Mum has finally booked her flight to come and see me! She and my step dad will be here for new year which I’m really looking forward to.

I wonder if it’s because it rains quite often in England, and that’s why it reminds you.
It’s good to spend time with family. I hope your sister had a good flight.
