So busy, so happy!
I haven’t had a chance to up-date my blog as it’s been manic here over the last few days!
My sister and her friend arrived in Essarn Sunday evening. The family I stay with decided to invite the monks round for breakfast so they could see the traditional way of Thai life that the average tourist doesn’t get to see. Most of the villagers come round for the blessing, it was defiantly a highlight for me since I have lived here, even though I’ve seen it before, having my sister have the opportunity to see it made it even better!
It was pretty wild with us 3 falangs on a motorbike riding through the village, I think my sister and her friend realised how friendly the people are here. Everyone was asking us to eat with them or simple saying hello, probably the only English word they know!
We then went on to a temple followed by lunch. The next day we decided to head to Laos.
Laos was completely different visiting with my sister. I had heard that it is against the law for a Lao lady to have a falang boyfriend, and vice versa. I don’t want to say too much but I think I’ve just broken Lao law!
All fun!
