Luckily for me, I’ve escaped the mess that’s currently going on in Bangkok – Another state of emergency, tanks and protests. Here in the north east of Thailand however, the Songkran festival is in full swing! I visited my girlfriend’s village in the morning, and hanged out at the Mekong Trade fair in the afternoon. A great day full of laughs, beer, food and of course, water!
Everyone’s looking quite dry for Songkran!
