Starting New Year with a first class luncheon

It’s our last day in the office for this year, with many of the team members returning home for a few days to spend some time with their family. Some team members have already left Bangkok, and with it being a beautiful day today, I decided to round of the year with a great lunch by the river.

We headed to The Verandah restaurant located by the river at the Oriental Hotel - One of the best hotels in the world. Unfortunately there were no tables outside available, although that might have been a blessing in disguise as Thai’s don’t generally like being out in the sun.

I’m planning on returning in the near future, so I’ll provide a full review then with some pics. Today was just about relaxing with some staff and sadly saying goodbye to one of the best designers I’ve ever worked with - Mac.

Anyway, the food was excellent, and the company was just as good!

Hi Chris, good to see your blog back to normal again! Looks like you finally fixed all the problems with the formatting, etc. :-)
Nice pics… Wish you a Very Happy New Year!
