World Telemedia, Amsterdam 2007

The World Telemedia conference is a trade show that brings world wide telecommunications companies together to catch up and exchange ideas on new telephony billing and content services.

It’s a great conference that is always guaranteed to bring industry experts together for 2 days of networking. I was talking about my first trip to World Telemedia with a friend, I was 15. I remember my Dad picking me up from school and telling me that I’m going on my first trip to Amsterdam. I was so excited. I feel very fortunate that my Dad was able to take me along to business meetings at a young age, I’m sure I’ve learned a lot, not only about business, but about how to treat others. After handing out 150 or so business cards explaining what I do, along with all the beer, late nights and catching up with old friends, I’m ready for my next destination: To visit family in England.

Tomorrow morning I have a flight into London City where my little sister is picking me up and have lunch planned with my grandmother followed by lots of Poker with friends and family! I can’t wait!
