Your first money making scheme

My first little business scheme at the tender age of 13 or 14 was tobacco tins. I sold over 500 tobacco tins to my class mates at school, and various different schools in my town.

I bought the tins from saved pocket and lunch money wholesale from an an advert in my Dad’s “Viz” magazine. The reason they sold well was because of the different stickers that come with the tins, which I had to stick on one by one. I can’t rememmber how much I made, or what the tins cost, but this was the first time I relaised how easy a “buy and sell” business is to generate money from.

What was your first money making scheme?
